OVERVIEW

The DR 1x/4x Dual Role Optical Sight represents a revolution in optical sight design. The world’s first truly dual field of view combat optical sight, the DR switches instantly from a 4x magnified sight to a 1x CQB sight with the throw of a lever. Unlike zoom sights, the DR offers an optimized optical path and identical eye relief in both 1x and 4x modes.

Depending upon the situation, the user may adjust the sight to illuminate the crosshair or just a brilliant red dot in the center. In 1x mode, the DR has by far the largest field of view in the industry. In 4x mode the DR offers a generous field of view, long eye relief, and ELCAN’S legendary crystal clear image.

The DR 1x/4x offers the best single solution for both Medium Range and CQB engagements and is designed to withstand the rigors of modern professional use.

FEATURE

1x-4x rifle scope dual-field optical sight, just flip the lever, you can immediately switch from 4x magnification sight to 1x CQB sight. Unlike the zoom sight,it provides an optimized light path and the same eye distance in 4x and 1x modes.Depending on the situation, the user can adjust the light to illuminate the entire crosshair or only the bright red dot in the center.

DR scope 1-4x32 Quick Zero Guide

  • Set the magnification to 4X when zeroing!
  • Azimuth zeroing uses the windage screw found at the front of the mount. Rotate the front left windage screw clockwise to move the point of impact to the left; counterclockwise to move to the right. Each click of the windage screw moves the point of impact by one-half MOA (approximately 1/2” at 100 yards). Figure 2-4
  • Elevation zeroing uses the elevation dial the bottom rear of the mount. Unlock the zeroing lock (silver tab) by raising it up as far as it will go. Be sure that the lock pin at the bottom of the zeroing lock is fully disengaged from the elevation dial.
  • Adjust the elevation dial as required. Each click of the elevation dial moves the point of impact by one-half MOA (approximately 1/2” at 100 yards). Turn the dial to the Right to Raise the point of impact, turn to the Left to Lower the point of impact.
  • When satisfied with elevation zero, lower the zeroing lock (silver tab) fully to lock the elevation zero at its current setting.

    About Katana

    What is a Katana ?

A Katana (かたな) is a Japanese sword that is recognized by its curved blade with a single edge. It has a guard (Tsuba) and a long handle that is made to be held with two hands. The blade measures about 24 in (2 shaku) and it is the weapon of the samurai who carried it with a Wakizashi, this forming a Daisho.

Can you own a Katana in the US ?

Katanas are considered knives and governed as such by state laws, so it is perfectly legal. In the United States, you must be 18 years old or have clear parental permission before owning a Katana.

Whether or not you can carry a katana outdoors depends on the state you live in, and we recommend that you check your state's laws for yourself. In general, it is forbidden to carry the sword openly in public, and it must be in a special bag or secure case.

Is the Katana battle ready ?

Our Katanas are forged traditionally by craftsmen. The polishing is also done by a master so that the blade is sharp, and you can perform Tameshigiri cutting. We also offer a razor sharpening option where our master polisher will spend a few extra hours on your sword so that it cuts like a razor.

    Do you ship worldwide ?

We deliver worldwide. However, we invite you to check in advance the conditions of purchase and import of weapons in your country. We cannot check the regulations of each country at every moment and modify our countries served according to that.

Are the Katana full Tang ?

All our Katanas are full tang. We forge the swords by hand and the blade continues into the handle in order to provide better strength and resistance during practice, but also to respect the Japanese know-how.

How much does a real Katana cost ?

A Katana made in Japan with the famous Tamahagane steel by a Japanese blacksmith in the tradition usually costs between $5,000 and $15,000. However, there is a lot of confusion around the Katana, as there are also antique Katanas that are traditionally forged and can be found second hand for $1000 and up depending on the state.

You can also find traditionally forged Katanas in other countries with other steels also very qualitative for a few hundred dollars. In our store, we offer Katanas starting at $200.

    What about the delivery ?

Worldwide Free Shipping. No worries for the customs!

Concerning the delays: It takes 7 to 21 days in general. It depends on the complexity of the craft.
