Premium AR550 Steel: Manufactured from 1/4" thick, laboratory-certified AR550 ballistic-grade steel, these plates offer exceptional hardness and strength, effectively stopping higher velocity rounds such as 5.56 XM193/M855/SS109, and 7.62 M80 Ball (.308 Winchester) at velocities up to 3,100 fps.
